For the family that cares so much

You can’t pour from an empty cup

A few hours that belong to you again — while the person you love spends the day having fun in a safe, loving environment.

Exercise is one way of maintaining independence with dementia.
First, the truth

You love them. And you’re tired.

Both things are true, and neither cancels the other out.

You’d do it all again tomorrow — that was never the question. The question is when you last slept through the night. Finished a coffee while it was hot. Saw a friend without watching the clock.

Somewhere along the way, you stopped being a wife, a husband, a daughter — and started being on duty around the clock.

You don’t have to choose between your life and their safety. That’s the entire point of ActivAge.

Taking a break isn’t stepping back from someone you love. It’s how you keep showing up.

If the roles were reversed, they would want this for you. You’ve earned it many times over.

No forms before feelings

How it starts

1

Call us
Tell us what’s going on at home. We’ll listen first and suggest options second — including ones that aren’t us, if that’s the honest answer.

2

Pick a rhythm
One day a week. Three. Or just when you need it — our scheduling bends around real life, including the last-minute kind.

3

Let the day be yours
Drop off in the morning, and do whatever you need to do — including nothing at all. We’ve got the rest handled.

When you need more hours back

Home care fills in the rest

ActivAge Home Care can take the evening shift, the weekend morning, or the overnight worry — so the break you get isn’t limited to club hours.

Club days plus home care is how many of our families finally get a full night’s sleep again.
