“With major life changes having my mom move in with me I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have found a place like ActivAge at Chelsea’s Place. My mom is 91 and socializing doesn’t come as easy as it did when she was younger. She enjoys going there! She says she likes the music and that the food is very good. I took notice of how nice the staff was and that it was very clean, cheerful and inviting. It’s nice seeing my mom awake, socializing and having fun for a change!”

“Upon entering Active Age, I was amazed and pleased to find a bright and cheerful decor. It is set up like a garden patio with beautiful decoration that is often changed to reflect a new scene. (Such as July Fourth) As wonderful as this is, it’s surpassed by the staff. They are friendly , caring and always attentive to their “guests”. Every day offers fun activities. It’s comforting that I can trust my loved one is safe and happy when I leave him there. I can’t imagine a better place.”

“Active age came as a recommendation from family friends. They came highly recommended as a loving and caring place where there is respect for each person who attends. My grandmother throughly enjoys the one on one interactions. She comes home so active and vibrant. She has a smile on her face and eagerly awaits returning. Thank you for giving her a social outlet and for caring enough to consider her dietary restrictions. The staff at ActivAge are genuinely friendly to my grandmother; she has stated numerous times how kind they are. There’s a mixture of activities for fine motor, gross motor and mental enrichment. Thank you for being a place that is so welcoming.”

“My wife has been going here for about 2 months now. She had reservations about spending time in such a new environment. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Many of the people here take the attitude that they were strangers once also and reach out to new people. Staff takes the position that they want to help if possible. Communication is clearly another priority with staff, they promptly respond to all inquiries. We are obviously very satisfied here, they have exceeded most of our expectations.”

“I can’t thank them all enough . They have help me n made my husband n I feel like family . I was ever scared in the beginning but they made me feel at ease. Brie is the best always has a smile on her face n is caring . I don’t know everyone name but I know my husband look forward to going there . If you are thinking of sending a family member there you make the right choice .”

“Activeage is a lifesaver, we tried many options to keep my wife safe, she suffers from Alzheimer’s, and I work fulltime during the day. My wife was not being supervised at home and would leave the house while i was at work. The police would pick her up and call me and I would have to leave work to go get her home, this went on rather frequently and I missed a lot of time at work, which started to annoy my bosses. Since going to Activ age I am able to get my wife there in the morning, work all day and pick her up after work. Knowing my wife is now safe has allowed me to concentrate better at my job , and only miss time when I want to take time off. I will always be grateful to the wonder staff that takes care of my wife, who sometimes can be a handful, all I can say is Thank you so very much.”
